Severance Issues? We Can Help.
What we do
When it comes to severance, we can pretty much do it all, but our services basically break down into three categories:
Understand - First thing we do is make you an educated consumer. We explain your agreement to you in paragraph-by-paragraph detail. So you will understand your agreement from top to bottom, the good, the bad, and the ugly. If there is anything wrong with your agreement, we can help you fix it.
Evaluate - Next, we can help you evaluate whether your agreement is fair in light of your particular circumstances. We will help you evaluate whether you are being fairly compensated and whether the general terms of the agreement are fair and equitable.
Improve - Third and finally, we help to improve your severance - this is the bread and butter of our practice.
how we bill
Flat Fee - We charge a flat fee of $650 to review and evaluate your severance agreement. This includes a paragraph by paragraph review of your agreement plus up to three hours of follow-up time for any and all matters related to your severance agreement, including ghost-writing e-mails for you, assistance with revisions, and any other follow-up issues that may arise.
Contingency - If we negotiate your severance compensation for you, we charge a contingency of one third (33.33%) of the monetary improvement we obtain minus $650 (i.e. the total billed to you is 1/3, you get the flat fee back). We have earned tens of millions of dollars for our clients by negotiating their severance agreements.
